Meet the Team

Justine Stephens-Reicher

Clinical Psychologist, BA Psych (Hons) MClin Psych

Hello! My name is Justine and I first began practising Psychology almost fifteen years ago. I am a Clinical Psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor practising in Frankston, offering individual therapy, group programs and school/home visits when clinically indicated. I am dedicated to supporting my clients to reach their goals, and work through the inevitable roadblocks of life. I have a special interest in mood and anxiety disorders (including agoraphobia & OCD), insomnia, neurodiversity (ASD, ADHD), child and adolescent mental health; parenting, and perinatal and infant mental health.

My sessions generally consist of Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment (ACT) therapies, with a deep appreciation for and where suitable, application of, attachment theory. In this way I may help clients understand why they are struggling, and help foster crucial self compassion; whilst addressing the main factors that are keeping the problem going. We work towards meaningful and real change. I am also an accredited Circle of Security facilitator.

I work with clients to sort out what is going on, and together agree on the best plan going forward. I’ll share the evidence on what works in the research (and my clinical experience) and you share the knowledge of what works for you. We then check in regularly to see how the sessions are helping.

Outside of work, I am focused on my family, friends, the water, and continuing to learn and try my best in this thing called life!
